A 91¿ì²¥ education prepares students to compete in a rapidly changing global community.ÌýWe provide students with the skills to think critically, analytically and independently.ÌýTuition covers less than half of the cost of education.ÌýThe remaining must come from state funds, endowment income and gifts to the University – including gifts from you. Our students are unique in a number of ways, mainly because 95% are eligible for Pell Grants and 98% receive some type of financial assistance.ÌýWith the decline of both federal and state funds, there is a tremendous need for private financial support – specifically from our alumni.ÌýFinancial aid resources have simply not kept pace with the financial needs of our student applicants and their families.Ìý
