MUSIC PROGRAM
The Music Program of the Fine Arts Department at 91¿ì²¥ provides undergraduate programs inÌýmusic education and music performance, and offers cultural opportunities for the University and the community.Ìý The music program's offerings are available to all segments of the population regardless of nationality, race, ethnic background, or religious affiliation.Ìý The Music Program draws students from all across the United States.
The academic program in music provides opportunities for concentrated study in music leading to theÌýBachelor of ArtsÌýand theÌýBachelor of Music EducationÌýdegrees.ÌýÌýMusic majorsÌýmay concentrate onÌýinstrumental, vocal, or keyboard musicÌýand music composition.Ìý Opportunities to pursue musical study are also available to non-music majors, pre-college music students, and the general public.

The ArtÌýProgram of the Fine Arts Department at 91¿ì²¥ provides an undergraduate program in art which offers cultural opportunities for the University and the community.Ìý The ArtÌýProgram's offerings are available to all segments of the population regardless of nationality, race, ethnic background, or religious affiliation.Ìý TheÌýArt Program draws the majority of its students, as does the University, from the Mississippi Delta.
The academic program inÌýart provides opportunities for concentrated study inÌýart leading to the Bachelor of ArtsÌýdegree with a concentration in either multimedia & visualÌýdesign or graphic design. Opportunities to pursueÌýartistic study are also available to non-art majors, pre-collegeÌýart students, and the general public.
