The Department of Natural Sciences and Environmental Health (NSEH) comprises two undergraduate programs and two distinctive graduate programs. The undergraduate programs offered include Biology and Chemistry. The graduate programs include aÌýMaster of Science in BioinformaticsÌýand a Master of Science in Environmental Public Health.ÌýFaculty members in the department are engaged in teaching science courses and conducting research in their respective fields, which span specialties such as aquatic animal physiology, cytogenetics, ecology, entomology, nanoparticle synthesis and application, natural products and their anticancer potential, molecular biology, toxicology, biosynthesis, analytical chemistry, and bio-environmental assessment.
